It’s time for our 3rd Annual Market BBQ, a completely locally-sourced and prepared meal served al fresco with all the fixin’s and live, local music from BYOB!
Our friends at The Local BBQ are preparing the pulled pork and Heather from Lucky Lemon Bakery will prepare pulled jackfruit for vegan and vegetarian guests. Also on the menu is pasta salad, veggie kabobs, sweet corn with herbed butter, kale slaw homemade pickles as well as fresh berry cobbler from Sheri’s Edible Art. All of this is served alongside fresh-squeezed lemonade and infused waters. It’s hard to believe tickets are only $10 each for adults and $5 for children. Our special guests Tin Man Brewing Kokomo will be out to offer cold, local brews*.
The Market BBQ begins our Farm-to-Fork Fundraising series for the 2018 season. All of the profits from our fundraising series are used to maintain and improve valuable programming that helps children and families in our community learn about and have access to healthy nutritious food.
